Brawley's Fork
Oil on Board 16 x 20 x .5 $300.00 USD Sold
Brawleys Fork meanders several miles through Cannon County from Dickens Hill Road, through Bradyville, to John Bragg Highway. The Brawleys Fork Crayfish (Cambarus williami), a small, freshwater crayfish is found in these waters and beyond—in 20 streams in five watersheds within its range in Cannon and surrounding counties. The spot in this painting is near John Bragg Highway. The day I visited it, a Great Blue Heron was standing in the water, possibly feasting on a
crayfish dinner.
