The paintings in this collection were part of an exhibit at The Arts Center of Cannon County in Woodbury, TN. The exhibit was on display during January-February, 2024.

For two weeks in October, I served as Artist in Residence for Stones River National Battlefield. My focus was to paint en plein air each day, featuring the historical significance of the location, the people of historical significance, or the nature found in the park. This is the collection of paintings which resulted in my residency.

These paintings are completed in gouache on piano music which has been affixed to cradled panels. Many of the music pieces were those I played as a child, piano lessons assigned by my teacher.
